Kate owns and runs Buttrick Asset Management, an investment management firm that focuses on dividend paying and dividend growing companies. Buttrick Asset Management works primarily with private clients, building equity and fixed income portfolios to help meet their individual needs. Kate started Buttrick Asset Management in January of 2016.
Prior to starting Buttrick Asset, Kate was a managing director and senior portfolio manager at ThomasPartners, where she ran individual client portfolios and worked on equity research. Prior to ThomasPartners, Kate spent time both at Sapers & Wallack Advisors, where she was hired as Director of Private Client Services, to help create and run Sapers & Wallack Advisors, Inc., a registered investment advisory firm, as well as Tucker Anthony.
Kate earned her B.A. in English from UMass, and holds a Graduate Diploma from the University of Kent, Canterbury England. She was also a member of the women’s crew teams for both universities.
